Bout of Books Challenge | OTP Pairing

Day two of Bout of Books 11.0 is going strong. Today's challenge I'll be participating in is hosted by Infinite Ink.

The challenge is called One True Pairing:
For this challenge, I want to hear all about your favorite literary OTP.  Tell me why you ship them.  Tell me how perfect they are for each other.  Vent about how frustrating it is that the author paired them with other people.  Give me proof about why they are actually canon, but nobody knows.  I want to hear it all.

Share your thoughts in a comment on this blog, a blog post, a tweet, on Facebook, etc, and then put the link into the Rafflecopter below.

Of course, you have to be participating in Bout of Books 11, so don't forget to give me your sign-up name and number from the original sign-up post.  You can also gain an extra entry for following me on Twitter.
So on to my OTP...

As of recently I have become obsessed with Ardis and Wendel from the Shadows of Asphodel duology by Karen Kincy!
Ardis is a badass mercenary in Europe and a wanted criminal back in America. She comes across Wendel on a battlefield. Wendel is a good looking necromancer.

Their relationship is totally mind blowing!

It starts off with Ardis being disgusted with Wendel because necromancers are frowned upon, but she falls in love with him.

Right off the back Wendel express his affection for Ardis but throughout all of book 1, Shadows of Asphodel, and most of book 2, Storms of Lazarus, Ardis denies telling him her true feelings.

Together they are one heck of a pairing. Ardia is fiesty and Wendel defies humanity. However, together they work and seem to break all boundaries.

I just finished this duology and I am just hooked on these two as a couple. A kickass female mercenary and good looking necromancer ... what more could I want in an OTP?!

Who is your favorite OTP?
