Excerpt

"Bassy," she moaned.
He lifted her from the piano and carried her to the sofa. Settling her on the back, he unfastened his jeans and set himself free. Mariss took it in her hands, caressing it for a moment, before she put her foot on the back of the sofa and positioned him at her opening. Sebastian thrust hard into.
Mariss screeched as she fell backward. Her back hit the sofa and her legs flipped over her head, propelling her to the floor. She landed on her face, half naked, on the dark blue shag rug.
"Mariss?"
Though she didn't make a sound, Mariss' body shook with laughter. She laughed so hard she had trouble catching her breath. When she looked up, Sebastian was leaning on the back of the sofa, his chin resting in his hand. A smile made his lips twitch. She could tell he was trying hard not to laugh at her. Mariss flipped over onto her back and stared up into his eyes.

My Thoughts

I thought book one was fierce, The Man Without Rules, but oh my gosh … this sequel gave me life! Tyffani is very brilliant for this sequel! The twists and turns had me confused, happy, sad, angry and so many other emotions!

This picks up where Hellena, Sebastian's ex assistant and consort, has told Mariss secret past to the press. Mariss is pissed and heated with Sebastian and has walked away. She returns home to find her husband has returned home and allows her to have relations with Juliet -- a female, crazy right?! Mariss tried everything to stay faithful, but it didn't work. Once her husband opened up Pandora's box she developed feelings for Sebastian and was now stuck with her love for her husband, her loyalty being broken and her feelings for Sebastian -- too much for one lady.

The only thing I can say about this sequel without is spoiling it is that I just cannot believe what the hell happened to Holden! OMG I cried my eyes out. Mariss is a strong woman for how she dealt with it all. I mean it tore me to pieces. I loved how Sebastian was there for her every step of the way still being his playful, sexual self. It was nice to see him care for her.

This Alina chick was so disturbing to me -- seriously! I just wanted to jump through the pages and cut her myself! She was delusional and such a daddy's girl that she refused to acknowledge the hurt and pain her father put Mariss through. This chick is screwed up for what she did to Holden and Holiss. I know people can be deranged, but come on now -- when you try to kill babies you are just seriously not in the right frame of mind -- ever.

After two losses Mariss was still strong and Sebastian still stood by her. I admired their foolish relationship, not how they got together so much or the end result, but how they always were together…there for one another. It was precious in so many ways to me. I will say that Sebastian and Mariss have some crazy a** enemies, lol.

I hated B because he wouldn't leave Mariss alone and Brenda was a sad old woman thinking she could be Sebastian's number one. Pitiful.

If you're looking for an adult erotica with drama and crazy females that will make you laugh, cry and giggle…this is the book for you!
