Book Review: The Dominant by Tara Sue Me

The Dominant The Dominant by Tara Sue Me
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is just as great as the first book, The Submissive!!! I loved reading this story over again from Nathaniel's perspective. His thought process seemed so straightforward and blunt in book one, but seeing it through his eyes is totally outstanding.

Nathaniel is the CEO of international securities corporation. He had everything you could think of except that special someone. In this book, he was more vulnerable and emotional. He calculates everything being careful and hoping he doesn't break Abby or run her away. His efforts to keep his emotions at bay and need to control his feelings don't work out as he hoped for.

Abigail is a librarian looking for some sexual release. She specifically wanted Nathaniel to be her Dom. She is new to the world of BDSM, but she is eager, willing and ready to learn, service and please. Where she seemed shy and doubtful in the first book, she now seems confident in her moves knowing exactly what she wants.

This book was such an amazing read because even the simple things as such as the Nathaniel's no kissing rule or why he took the whipping bench out shows how he tried to control his feelings. Knowing how he moved and thought just allowed me as a reader to see him in a different light. I just loved his constant battle of forcing himself to be Abby's dominant instead of letting himself love her.

I can't wait to read on and find out what more is in store for these two lovebirds in The Training.
