My Rating:

My Thoughts:
Holy cow! This book was action packed from start to finish. Never a dull moment from the time Isaac and Demetre woke up to the end with Isaac and Nephele. Just so amazing that I am literally lost for words and where to even begin.

Isaac was freaking phenomenal. He is one strong guy. I can't believe how much strength he had even when faced with such terrible truths. I loved that he was quick to want to help other humans and I love even more that he was hardly scared of any Star. He kept his head high and did what he had to do. Hope to see him grow into more powers and become the savior of humankind.

Demetre was an awesome character. I hated how things went for him. I nearly died reading things about him, especially after he was taken over by Corbin, but the way he pulled through in the end blew my mind away! I just can't wait to read more about him.

Devin is a strong Nephilin. He may be damned or set for darkness, but he tries hard to avoid it. He works hard to be redeemed and I love that about his character. I hope he continues to fight for the right reasons and I hope he does get redeemed in the end. Finding out about him and Raziel was freaking awesome! I hope more on them gets shared in the next books.

Nephele is a dangerous Nephilin. I truly cannot stand her. She is pure evil in every sense. I loved that the last few chapters were told in her perspective, but they made me hate her even more. She has this twisted love and desire to please Lucifier. She's insane.

Athalas is a douchebag. For a council member he was betrayed the Creator and mankind. I really can't wait to see him die because he just acts too high and mighty. The Shadows and Lessers were some interesting creatures for sure. I loved the Underwarriors, Nephilins and just about everyone. They all had an imporatant part to play in this book.

I am excited to continue on with the trilogy. Just seems like it's going to be a rollercoaster of a time and full of nonstop action. Hope to find out more about the other book bearers as well.
