Synopsis:
All warfare is deception. Even in high school.

It’s been nineteen days since Isis Blake forgot about him. The boy she can't quite remember. She's stuck in the hospital with a turban-size bandage on her head, more Jell-o than a human being should ever face, and a tiny bit of localized amnesia. Her only goal? To get out of this place before she becomes a complete nutjob herself.

But as Isis’s memories start to return, she realizes there’s something important there at the edges of her mind. Something that may mean the difference between life and death. Something about Sophia, Jack’s girlfriend.

Jack Hunter—the “Ice Prince”—remembers everything. Remembers Isis's purple hair and her smart-ass mouth. Remembers that for a little while, Isis made him feel human. She made him feel. She burned a hole in the ice…and it's time to freeze back up. Boys like him don't deserve girls like her. Because Jack is dangerous. And that danger might be the only thing protecting her from something far more threatening.

Her past.

Previously published as Savage Delight, this fully revised and updated edition is full of hilarity, drama, and heartbreak.

My Rating:

My Thoughts:
This sequel was just as great, if not better, than the first book. I totally loved this book from start to finish. The new characters that were a blast from the pasts. The secrets being revealed. The love being shared. The friendships being made. The devastation at the end. Everything about this trilogy just screams life to me.

Isis has endured some head damage after Leo attacked her and her mother. She has a small case of amnesia when it comes to remembering Jack, but things slowly start to come back to her. She begins to realize that Jack is the kind of guy she likes. She tried to cold shoulder him a few times, but she clearly couldn't keep her emotions under way about him. Isis is a strong girl, even with her ex sending her messages she still manages to move on with life. I hope she continues to be strong throughout the last book. I don't want to see her break down because she been portrayed as such a strong female character. I love Isis, from her doubting her own worth and beauty to her sarcastic comments to Jack. She's is freaking amazing.

Jack is amazing. He was coming into himself and learning to defrost his cold demeanor. He is sweet, kind, funny, naughty and amazing. I love everything about him. I loved even more his realization of his feelings for Isis and how he possibly could love her more than he did Sophia. Sophia was his past, Isis was his future. It took him while, but I was happy when he woke up. He's so protective, loving and kind. I can't wait to see how he protects and loves on Isis in the next book.

Sophia seemed sweet sometimes and then other times she was an ass. I understand that she felt like she had to push people away, but it didn't excuse her actions. I think she was struggling with her own reality that she didn't care for others and how they would feel. I was glad when she finally accepted things. I was even happier when she decided to hang out with her friends. However, that ending -- just way did she have to do it. I know she was depressed and wanted to end things, but damn why that way?

The romance was amazing. Isis and Jack finally come to realize how they feel for one another. They finally begin to jump the hurdles to try at something different. I loved it. From the memories to the arguments and even the cute hotel scene. I am totally rooting Isis and Jack!

Wren and Kayla are freaking adorable. I love them both! I need more of them. Avery is still a major bitch, but I will say that I've grown to appreciate her character. She is the cause of all the drama, but she tried to make things right in her own twisted way.

Will aka Nameless is a major asshole. I cannot believe how much he still wants to haunt and taunt Isis. Raping her wasn't enough, now he has to torment the love she has for another man. I hope Jack beats his ass when they met!

That endings crushed my heart. I wanted to pass out from such an ending. What will become of Jack now? Will he and Isis begin a real relationship? So much -- so many questions -- I need the last book right now! The countdown begins!
