My Thoughts:
I'm a huge fan of Terry McMillan so when I saw this book I immediately had to request it. I gave this a 3.5 rating because it didn't give me all the feels that I'm used to. I found that it was too detailed at times and had to skip a few pages every now and then. The dialogue between characters was interesting enough, gave me a few laughs here and there, but did nothing to truly keep my interest 100%.
I'm not sure if it was Georgia (the main character), the secondary characters or just the plot itself, but I couldn't get into this. I think this might be a good read for older women, but for me this just didn't do it for me. I will be keeping it in my library and try to re-read it sometime down the line, but as of right now I'm 50-50 on this book.
